Prof Nothemba Joyce Nduna is the ETDP SETA’s Research Chair for Work Integrated
Beginning as a high school
teacher, a lecturer at Walter Sisulu University and an HOD at the former Transkei
College of Education.
Dr Nduna became Director of Community Engagement at Rhodes
University and served as the Director of the Centre for Community Engagement and
Work Integrated Learning at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT).
*Bachelor’s degree and an Honours degree in Arts from the University of
South Africa.
*The degree of Master of Arts from the University of the Witwatersrand.
*The
degree of Master of Education from Rhodes University.
*The degree of Doctor of
Philosophy from Stellenbosch University.
*She is currently serving as the Council Member of West Coast College in Cape Town.
*Prof Nduna served as chairperson of the Teaching and Learning Working Group of the South African Higher Education Community Engagement Forum (SAHECEF)
- Vice Chairperson of the SAHECEF.
- She also served as a member of the WIL Task team.
- Programmes and Qualifications Committee of the South African Technology Network.
- As well as a reviewer and grant holder of the National Research Foundation’s (NRF’s) Community Engagement Research Programme.
